How the quantities are calculated

Formula

Required quantity = area × coats ÷ coverage × (1 + wastage ÷ 100). Round up to whole packs. Labour uses the entered area once.

What’s included

Primer only. Other coating layers, repairs and preparation are excluded. Coverage varies with the product and surface.

Costs use your entered rates. Taxes, delivery and other charges are excluded unless included in those rates.
